A native of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Brian is currently based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. His principal career since 1984 has been as a guitarist and composer of Latin music for adults and bilingual music for children, but along the way he discovered his love for voiceover and children’s narration. Since 1994, Brian’s bilingualism has allowed him to participate in many wonderful audiobook projects as a narrator, singer, and composer.
Brian’s Spanish is neutral Latin American. Some say his conversational English has a slight hint of the Southwest, but he can speak with a neutral North American accent or whatever degree of Hispanic accent is requested! In fact, he invented a widget for customers to choose the degree of accent they want – check it out at www.accent-o-meter.com.
Brian has extensive experience in many types of educational narrations. In the past 10 years he has been chosen to narrate and compose instrumental music for numerous children’s audio books and eLearning projects with major publishers. His recent narration of the audiobook Esquivel! Space-Ace Sound Artist was honored in both the Odyssey and Audie awards. Brian also narrates and acts for a great variety of voiceover work in general. He is a flexible voice actor, takes direction well, and thrives on new challenges. Additionally, as a professional guitarist and composer of many original songs and instrumental selections for audio books, he welcomes opportunities to add his musical talents to clients’ projects.
Brian is delighted to be doing voiceover work, and clients enjoy his quick sense of humor. Furthermore, his relaxed attitude and willingness to take direction means that every product will be a pleasure for you!
