Chris Hutchison

  • Gender: Male
  • Age Range: MiddleAge
  • Category:Houston Based Men, All Men

Chris Hutchison is a relative newcomer to VO’s. Just before leaving NYC for Houston, he voiced the reddest redneck race car driver you can imagine in a Fast Acting Zantac national radio spot. Since then he has lent his gruff and gravelly tones to STRIPES convenience stores, doing hyped up tags for new products every couple of months both on TV and Radio, as well as a slightly less manic persona for the reassuring narratives used by ENT Credit Unions.

In addition to these spots, he has voiced several anime characters through AD Vision in Houston. He seems to specialize in bad guys and cop types that die very loud and bloody deaths…

Chris came to Houston to work full time on stage. He is a resident company member at the renowned Alley Theatre in Houston, where he spends the year working on anything and everything from Shakespeare to Sam Shepard. Prior to landing in Houston, Chris had been all over the place, and you can hear it in his voice. He worked in NYC Off Broadway and on TV and Feature Film, and all over the country in regional theatre. He is also a singer/ songwriter/guitarist, who played with his band Chillum, for five years in the early 2000’s in New York City and environs.
