David Harbold is a 40 year veteran of stage, screen and radio, having appeared in over 50 stage and film roles and various radio commercials. Among his favorite roles are Tony in West Side Story with the Maryland Arts Festival, Thomas Jefferson in 1776 with Cockpit in Court Summer Theater, Friar Lawrence in Romeo and Juliet for The Shakespeare Factory and Joe Josephson for Le Petite Theatre’s 2016 production of Steven Sondheim’s Merrily We Roll Along in New Orleans, Louisiana. His most recent television role was that of “TV Man” in the recent Super Bowl LVIII commercial for “Smash Therapy,” sponsored by Head & Shoulders. He was also featured as a reporter on HBO’s VEEP, staring Julia Louis-Dreyfus. David is an alumni of Towson University’s theater arts department as well as Deke Anderson’s Next Level Acting Studio. Also a composer, David has written over 50 songs and musical numbers, plays keyboards and rhythm guitar as well as sings, and is also an Actor/Combatant, certified by the Society of American Fight Directors.
