Warm, friendly, approachable, authoritative and believable are just some of the words used to describe British voice talent, Mike Cooper. Add in a background in radio and television production, stretching back over 25 years, and you have a genuine all-rounder who producers love working with.

Mike transitioned to full-time voiceover work in 2008, and getting the job done quickly and painlessly – while taking direction well – are his trademarks. These have ensured Mike a highly successful career as a voiceover artist in the UK, with an impressive client list that includes a decade with BBC World Service radio, several years as the voice of HISTORY and QVC on television in the UK, and numerous documentaries for A&E, National Geographic and independent producers. His skills are also in demand for corporations including Hewlett Packard, Siemens, BP, Rolls Royce and Xerox, to name but a few.

Mike emigrated from London to the USA in 2014 with his partner, two rescue dogs, and his natural, neutral, and famously friendly sound – which is fast becoming as popular in the States as it is in the UK. Now, with a fully-equipped, professional studio at his home just outside Asheville, in the mountains of North Carolina, Mike can connect with clients anywhere in the world for live sessions, or is equally happy to work without supervision to create the voiceover track you need.
