Nayeli D. Escamilla is a bilingual, Spanish/English, actress, singer and voice talent, with over fourteen years of experience. She began doing theater in high school at the age of 15, and also auditioning for independent films. In 2007, she began working for the local Spanish television stations, Univision 45 and Telefutura 67, as well as for one of their radio stations, Tu Musica 104.9, where she co-hosted a morning show, and later had her own shift. While working as an on-air talent for both, radio and TV, she had the opportunity to appear in, and lend her voice for many national and local TV spots and radio commercials. She is fluent in both languages, and her knowledge of the Hispanic culture, as well as her closeness to it, has allowed her to have excellent diction in Spanish. As an actress, she knows very well how to work with her voice, and understands the magic that takes place behind the microphone. Her musical and writing abilities have also given her the opportunity to compose several Jingles. Her most recent accomplishment includes her winning an Emmy in 2012 for Best Musical Arrangement, for writing the lyrics and melody to the theme song of Vive la Manana, which airs every morning in Houston and Dallas. Nayeli D.Escamilla studied Broadcast Journalism, with a minor in Spanish, at the University of Houston, and is represented by Pastorini-Bosby Talent.
