I started out at an early age entertaining my parents and their friends with impersonations of Louis Armstrong, Walter Brennan, John Wayne, Richard Nixon, Jimmy Stewart, Henry Fonda, Chill Wills, Struther Martin, J.F.K.,
and anyone else I happened across. This continued into my high school years at Bellaire where I entertained the students at pep rallies, impersonating some of the above along with the coaching staff of the football team.
I first got a paycheck doing voice work for Origin Systems in the 1980’s to 1990’s, working on several scripts, including Wing Commander 3DO (the voice of Commander Halcyon) and Pacific Strike (the Hero and several other voices). In the late 1990’s I was fortunate enough to work on a few Japanimation projects with A.D.V. films, The Rail of the Star and Maps 1,2,3, and 4
among them. Since then I have done a few commercials, industrials, and even played an old hound dog for the Reliant Stadium International Dog Show. On one book on CD project, I voiced 4 different characters over a 120 page script. That took a few hours in the studio.
I have a gazillion voices and ideas for voices running around in my head, so what you might hear on my audition tapes is only a tiny sample of what I can do. Thanks for reading my bio and let me know if you need me. I love doing this type of thing and really enjoy playing with my voice.
