Becky Shrimpton

I fell in love with acting when my mom took me to see Les Misérables when I was six. Most of it went completely over my head, but when I saw young Cosette on stage, I thought, “Why isn’t that me?” A few decades later, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting, training at the British American Drama Academy in England with Derek Jacobi and Fiona Shaw, and a career behind the mic; I’m working as the professional voice actor that would make little me proud.

I love horror, and playing villains, so working on projects like Five Nights at Freddy’s, Warframe, Bendy and the Dark Revival, Call of Dragons, and Talking Tom: Suddenly Super has been a dream. That said, I’ve also got a soft side. I’ve been approved by Disney for Classic Princess Stories and have voiced projects for little listeners, including Polly Pocket Adventure Studios, LEGO DUPLO Marvel, and Sesame Street-branded content. As a mom, I have a deep well of warmth to pull from.

Commercial and corporate clients come to me for a sound that’s confident, smart, playful, and occasionally just the right amount of snark. I’ve worked with brands including American Express, Rimmel London, Samsung, Delta Airlines, the American Medical Association, and The Beatles LOVE.

I bring strong acting chops, character range, improv instincts, and a lot of joy to the booth, whether I’m voicing a tiny princess, a creepy villain, a trusted brand, or something wonderfully weird.
