Born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico, a deep enthusiasm for sound and music combined with a burst of Divine Intervention drove him to jump from the audio engineer seat into the recording booth, only to discover a passion and skill for using his voice behind the microphone.
With a professional career now spanning over 20 years, Rodolfo has developed as an experienced voice actor, delivering native Spanish in Pan-Hispanic (neutral), Mexican and Latin American dialects.
A new path of adventure brought him to the US in 1999, setting an opportunity to continue his VO career and become a SAG-AFTRA member. Gaining from the exposure to a cross-cultural environment also allowed him to become bilingual and now offer a fluent VO read in English with a touch of Hispanic flavor.
Over the years, his voice has been featured in a wide variety of platforms. From TV, radio and internet commercials, IVR, audio guided tours, to industrial and other multimedia projects.
Rodolfo delivers with a friendly, warm and confident sound, while also providing range and versatility. This makes his voice a good fit for different market and age groups.
Outside the booth he enjoys spending time with family, along with favorite activities such as playing piano, racquetball, flying stunt kites, hiking in nature, riding a mountain bike and grilling carne asada seasoned only with Himalayan salt and love.
